Sigree Indian Restaurant and Banquet: Indulge in Authentic Indian Cuisine in Addison, TX

This place is phenomenal. Desi family run. Very authentic. Was there once when a desi wedding party took over after hours. Cute to witness. The families coming together were extremely happy to become one.

Had lunch buffet in weekend, first time visitor. Buffet had a lot of veg options- cutlets and aloo tikkis- surprised!! Items were mix of north and Bengali style- it was fresh, tasty and unique. Desserts had gulab jamun, mishthi dahi both were good! Their biryanis are not typical dum style but are flavorful- had jackfruit in veg options!! Service is good, kept checking what we need and asked for food feedback. Would recommend and visit again.

This buffet was fantastic, and everything I tasted was really good. They offered two different flavored rice varieties and plenty of dishes to pick from. I’ll definitely be returning. The standout for me was the Malai Kofta—it was my first time trying it. It’s basically a soft dumpling made from Indian cottage cheese and potatoes in a creamy sauce. I didn’t know exactly what it was at first, but I really enjoyed it.

I went to Sigree Grill a couple weeks ago and was completely blown away. The buffet was clean and organized. There were also multiple vegetarian and different meat options. It was my first time trying vegetable Biryani and it was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and they had different spice levels for people that can not handle spice like me. The standout of my meal with the chicken tikki masala, it was creamy and perfectly rich. I’m actually craving it right now! I also ordered the mango lassi which was delicious. My waitress was kind and attentive and I am looking forward to going back.

Went for their Rajasthani Food buffet and ai can say if you’re craving authentic Rajasthani flavors, this place is an absolute gem! Daal Baati was rich and perfectly spiced, the Gatte ki Sabji bursting with traditional flavor, and the Pyaz Kachori crisp and heavenly. The cutlets were a delightful surprise, and the variety on the menu ensures there’s something for everyone. To end on a sweet note, their signature orange kulfi ala carte was simply divine — creamy, refreshing, and the perfect finale to a royal meal. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the warmth and humility of the owners, Anshu and Mohit. Their genuine hospitality makes you feel less like a customer and more like an honored guest in their home. If you love authentic food served with love, this is a place you’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended!

Stopped by today with family for weekly special Bengali Food Fiesta buffet, and here is my honest experience: Atmosphere - Greeted warmly and seated promptly. Was surprised and elated hearing some bengali legendary voices of Sandhya Mukheejee, Hemant Mukherjee, Manna Dey, Salil Chowdhury songs playing in background. Couldn't find this atmosphere even in bengali restaurants in Texas. Food - coming to the most important part - As promised on their FB page, some of the most authentic and traditional bengali dishes elegantly on display. Luchi, Aloo Dum, Beguni, Vegetable cutlet, Fish Fry, Labra, Echhor Biryani, Chili Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Kosha Mangsho, Cholar Dal, Payesh, Mishti Doi, Pantua (gulab jamun)... each dish was so authentically prepared. The right amount of spices and typical to bengali taste buds, shows the detailing and amount of effort that went in from the talented Chef. Every bite took me to my childhood memory of Sunday breakfast and lunches in my traditional home back in Kolkata. This meal fed my soul! I couldn't have been happier this Sunday, having the same experience. Madam Chef, you have given me the best bengali experience in Texas. Thank you and your team for all your efforts. I look forward to many such soulful experience at Sigree. It was having nice ambiance with nice Indian Bollywood fusion music. Delicious food. Highly recommended.
